Why is your band name U2?
Why do you wear glasses?

-In1978 the name was changed to U2. Steve a friend of Clayton's who is in the band he gave six names to choose from and the band chose U2 it was the name that the liked the most.
Bono has revealed that the reason why he wears glasses is because he has glaucoma. That is a condition where your eyes can be more sensitive to light and can lead to being blind.
Bono's daughters are 26 and 28.
